Matthew 4:28

Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Psalm 4:8

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, maketh me dwell in safety. 

I shared two scriptures on this today.  The verse in Matthew is one we all know.  I also love the verse in Psalms as well.  I can almost hear it being sung. 

Resting from our labors and our cares is an important part of our journey in life.  Find that spot to rest in the presence of our Papa God.  While my husband and I were visiting my daughter, Debbie, in Houston Texas, she had some friends show up at her door one Sunday morning saying, "Happy Sabbath."  I had never heard anyone say that before and as I watched how my daughter and her friends families observe the Sabbath I was so impressed. It was a special day for them. We as Christians are blessed as we value and appreciate this special day, the Sabbath.
